Liam’s Journey
For A Cure

From the bottom of our hearts—thank you ❤️

Together, we raised over $100k for Liam!

From June 16-18, a team of not-your-typical-cyclists made a 3-day, 300-mile bike ride from Boston to Montreal with the hopes of raising money and awareness for The Liam Foundation.

You can still make a donation — every dollar raised will be given directly to The Liam Foundation!

This bike ride was over 300 miles long!

Liam Reason, a 9-year-old from Montreal, was diagnosed with POLG disorder, a debilitating Mitochondrial disease, in 2019.

His parents were initially told that Liam may not make it through the week, but 4 years later he continues to show strength and resiliency that baffles his doctors and parents on a daily basis.

The Journey For A Cure

Chris Nilan, a Boston native and former Montreal Canadiens hockey great, befriended Liam and his dad Kevin, and has been working hard to raise money to help the foundation. Knuckles’s friendship with Tom Regan, owner of Regan's Motivated Fitness in South Boston is what spurred the idea of this international bike ride.

Tom, Chris and their good-kind-of-crazy buddies are always up for a challenge, especially when it's for a great cause like this one!
